Giving Tuesday is a giving opportunity in the midst of all of the traditional after Thanksgiving “shopping days” to support nonprofits.
Each year, we choose a special project to focus on as we participate in this annual event.
This year, we will be designating all Giving Tuesday funds toward new bunk bed mattresses for the church cabins! Worn/thin/uncomfortable mattresses were one of the most common facilities complaints this past summer. We understand that a good rest helps improve the camp experience and we want to create an environment where campers can hear and respond to the Gospel! Mattresses are made locally in Lenoir, NC, are 6 inches thick, have welded seams for easy cleaning and durability, and cost $114 each.
