Giving Tuesday is a giving opportunity in the midst of all of the traditional after Thanksgiving “shopping days” to support nonprofits.
Each year, we choose a special project to focus on as we participate in this annual event.
This year, we will be designating all Giving Tuesday funds toward renovating the Chapel. This building has been an exciting and meaningful place of worship for more than 50 years, and it’s beginning to show! Phase 1 will be to replace the sanctuary flooring and seating. It is scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2027. In total, Phase 1 is expected to cost approximately $35,000. Commercial flooring materials are ~$15,600, new chairs will be ~$17,940, and we are allowing a margin for subfloor repairs. Any extra donations will go toward Phase 2, which will begin with new ceilings, wall coverings, and interior doors.
