During one of the last weeks of camp, I had the pleasure of meeting a child that had been adopted from Africa. From the moment I met her, we bonded instantly. She would repeatedly tell me that I was her best friend and would never let me go until she had to leave and go with her counselors. Since I lead morning recreation, I don’t usually get to share the gospel during morning activities, however on the last camp of this camp, she began asking me questions about Jesus and what is means to be saved. Later that night, she decided to ask Jesus into her heart and be saved. I am so glad that God was able to use me in a way that He never has before. I will never forget the joy she brought to me and everyone else at camp that week.
