Hope had made a commitment, before the summer started, to make time each week to share with each of her lost campers. This was her “Yes’ to God. “Yes’ God, each week I will look for opportunities to share my faith and I will take advantage of each opportunity.” Each time God opened a door for her to ask about the girls’ salvations, she did. She answered the girls’ questions, shared her testimony, asked some hard questions, and prayed with each girl. As she obeyed God’s promptings, God continued to open more doors. Sometimes God is waiting for us to say ‘Yes’ before He shows us the open door.
A worker from VOM’s Colombia staff visited our main office recently to report on persecution in Colombia and share how VOM is helping. It is a blessing to see how God is allowing VOM to support his church in Colombia-by delivering Christian literature, sponsoring radio broadcasts, and dropping radios pre-tuned to Christian stations into guerrilla-controlled areas, among other ways. Guerrillas are coming to know Christ and often returning to FARC areas to spread the Good News, even at great personal risk.
THANK You for making parachutes that will help further this important work
Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who share God’s Word in Colombia, as well as our ‘enemies’ who seek to stop this important ministry work.
