My favorite memory occurred the third week of camp. There was a boy named Nathan* that was one of the sweetest kids I have ever met. He did not have a constant female figure in his life, so he seemed to strong attachment to the girls’ staff and one of them was me. One day at Rec, we had sprinted from the rock-climbing wall to the softball field and I was out of breath. Nathan came up to me with water in his hand and said, “Here, this is for you!” Later in the week, he asked Jesus to be his Savior and Lord. It was the most amazing experience to see God work in his life that week.
